Before You Book

What Goes Wrong When a Wedding Car Booking Isn’t Confirmed in Writing

Three failure modes account for most wedding-transport disasters -- all preventable with a written confirmation and a real backup plan.

Presentation

The Wrong or Undecorated Car Shows Up

With no written confirmation of the vehicle and decoration, there is nothing to hold the operator to on the morning of your wedding -- the wrong car, or the right car with no flowers.

Reliability

A Wedding-Morning Breakdown With No Real Backup

A verbal-only promise of a backup vehicle is not a plan -- without a written guarantee confirmed in advance, a breakdown on the morning of your wedding has nowhere to go.

Timing

A Chauffeur Unfamiliar With the Venue Route

A driver seeing your ceremony venue for the first time on the day risks a late arrival -- exactly the one day that cannot be redone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I rented a fielder hybrid, the car is well maintained no issues, good fuel consumption and the response was prompt, kudos on that but what you need to introduce or improve on is delivery to client's location, I had to come from Kajiado to pick the car in Nairobi

Owner's reply
Hi Emmanuel, thanks for the great feedback and for pointing that out. Glad the Fielder Hybrid served you well on fuel and condition, and that our response time hit the mark. Your point on delivery is well taken. We're working on making pickup more convenient for clients outside Nairobi. Appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we hope to have you back again soon.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does wedding car hire cost in Nairobi?

From KES 8,000 for an economy saloon to KES 18,000-30,000 for a Land Cruiser VX or Toyota Land Cruiser Prado -- full wedding day, chauffeur and decoration included. Full fleet programmes from KES 30,000. Call 0707 116 220 for a fixed written quote.

How far in advance should I book?

3-6 months for Saturday weddings. December, August, and April Saturdays fill 4-5 months ahead. Weekday ceremonies can often be confirmed within 4-6 weeks.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Your written backup vehicle guarantee activates immediately. A designated backup -- confirmed in writing 7 days before your wedding -- is dispatched within 2-4 hours within Nairobi.

Which car models are available?

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Toyota Harrier, Toyota RAV4, Land Cruiser VX, economy saloons, 7-seaters, and minivans for guest shuttles.

Does the rate include decoration and chauffeur?

Yes. Decoration is confirmed in writing at booking and photographed before departure. The chauffeur is briefed on your full day programme. Quote equals invoice -- no end-of-day additions.

Why book a dedicated wedding car service instead of a regular rental or a friend’s car?

A regular self-drive rental has no decoration, no dedicated chauffeur briefed on your venue route, and no written backup-vehicle guarantee for the one day that cannot be redone. A friend or relative driving carries no written confirmation and no contingency if something goes wrong on the morning of. Barguts gives you both in writing.

How do I choose the right wedding car hire company in Nairobi?

Confirm the vehicle and decoration are written into the quote, not verbal-only. Confirm a same-morning inspection is standard practice, not an afterthought. Confirm a written backup-vehicle guarantee exists for breakdowns. Barguts meets all three directly.
