Barguts Tours is an NTSA-licensed vehicle hire and tour operator headquartered at Buruburu Business Shopping Complex, Nairobi. We serve private travellers, business executives, NGO field teams, diplomatic missions, and tourists requiring reliable, documented, and insured vehicle hire across Kenya.
Every hire we complete comes with a written quote, a signed condition report, a comprehensive insurance briefing, and a direct team contact — seven days a week, 7 AM to 9 PM. Our fleet spans economy saloons, executive SUVs, safari 4×4s, 7-seaters, pickup trucks, and minivan buses.

NTSA Operator Licence
Barguts Tours holds a current National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Operator Licence authorising commercial vehicle hire throughout Kenya. All fleet vehicles carry valid NTSA inspection certificates and are registered for hire use. Self-drive and chauffeur services both operate under this licence.
Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) Membership
Our KTF membership aligns Barguts Tours with Kenya’s recognised tourism industry standard. KTF membership requires active compliance with operational, safety, and service standards relevant to vehicle hire, safari operations, and tour services across Kenya.
AA Kenya Affiliation
AA Kenya affiliation provides our clients with nationwide roadside assistance coverage. In the event of a breakdown, AA Kenya responds within 2–4 hours across Nairobi and upcountry routes. This coverage is active on every hire from departure to return — no additional enrolment required.
PSV-Licensed Drivers — All Chauffeur Assignments
Every Barguts Tours driver assigned to a chauffeur hire holds a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) licence issued by NTSA. Driver name, PSV licence number, and vehicle registration are sent to the booking contact before the first journey. We do not use unverified drivers or sub-contracted individuals on confirmed bookings.
Comprehensive Insurance — Every Vehicle
All fleet vehicles carry comprehensive commercial hire insurance covering vehicle damage, third-party liability, and passenger injury. For executive and safari vehicles, insurance is confirmed at the correct declared replacement value — not the minimum disc rate. Off-road and national park cover is confirmed in writing before any safari hire departs Nairobi.

Fixed written quote covering the daily rate, deposit, fuel policy, insurance scope, mileage terms, and any chauffeur or delivery details. No verbal-only commitments.
BDFP Inspection & Handover
Vehicle inspected in your presence at 45 checkpoints. Condition report signed by both parties. Insurance, fuel, and emergency protocols briefed before keys are handed over.
Active Support Throughout
24/7 emergency line active for your full hire period. Replacement vehicle deployed within 2–4 hours for any mechanical fault. Post-hire deposit returned within 24 hours of clean return.
